As part of Mission Reach OutArmy conducted a veterinary aid cum rural development camp at Harni in Poonch district. The Army provided veterinary assistance to alleviate the suffering of the livestock of the region and hence in turn help the villagers. This camp saw widespread participation and was a huge success wherein large number of locals attended the camp. The team of veterinary doctors from Animal Husbandry Department, Poonch rendered their services and vital medicines were provided. The continuous and relentless efforts of Army towards conduct of veterinary camp have been greatly appreciated by the local population. This in situ veterinary assistance was lauded by locals and they appreciated the sincere efforts put in by the Indian Army to address their issues regarding animal husbandry.
