To listen to the grievances of the people of Krishna Nagar, Sat Sharma, former BJP President, & former Minister, toured areas of Resham Ghar and Krishna Nagar and interacted with the local residents in a public meeting.
Former JMC Chairperson Jeet Angral, Ramesh Thakyal, Anil Angral, Surjit Singh and prominent residents of Ward No. 12, Krishna Nagar attended the meeting.
Sat Sharma, while conducting the tour of the area was apprised about the local issues of the masses. He was apprised of the issues concerning the local residents like erratic electricity and water supply.
They also said that the street lights and high mast lights in the area are not working and also raised the issue of sanitation and park with the senior leader. The issue of repair of lanes and streets was also raised by the locals.
Sharma said that an extensive tour of the area was conducted to interact with the locals to have firsthand knowledge of the issues being faced by the locality residents. He said that the BJP is committed to providing the basic amenities to the residents of the area.
He said that the earlier governments had neglected ground-level development in the past, which was ensured by the BJP’s public representatives, especially in the period after the Narendra Modi government took oath in 2014 to develop the nation. After listening to the grievances of the masses, Sat Sharma immediately took up the issues with the concerned departments and assured the local residents that the best possible solutions would be figured out for their issues.
He further added that with the keen interest of the Narendra Modi government to develop Jammu & Kashmir, the J&K BJP leaders are fully devoted to project the development and other issues of the region and lead them to viable solutions.
