As part of the Kabir Jayanti celebration, a function was organized today at Sant Kabir Temple, Kotli Gala Bana R S pura, Jammu. A large number of Kabir devotees participated in the function wherein former BDC Chairman, Dalip Kumar was the chief guest. While paying tributes to Kabir Ji Maharaj, Dalip Kumar said that Sant Kabir was a great social reformer who always preached through his satsangs the message of brotherhood among all religious, removal of untouchability and superstitions from the society.
He said even at present times, the people remember Kabir ji for his secular nature and equality messages through his popular ‘Dohas’. Many others also spoke on the occasion and praised the preachings of Saint kabir ji for harmony and secularism in the society at large.Kabir Mandir Committee Members Darshan Kumar, Ex Sarpamch Suraj Parkash, Chaman Lal, Balak Ram, Surjeet Singh, Jeet Raj, Sardari Lal, Prem Nath and others present on this occasion.
