Poster Making Competition on World Malaria Day at Dalogra, Rajouri

In a pro-active initiative to raise awareness on ‘World Malaria Day’, Indian Army organised a poster-making competition at Govt High school Dalogra, Rajouri. Students showcased their talent by crafting impactful visuals highlighting the importance of ‘Malaria Prevention’ and treatment with creativity and enthusiasm. The event was organised for two different categories (6th to 8th classes and 9th to 10th classes).
A total of 15 students participated in each category. The event served as a platform to empower the youth with knowledge about the disease and its method for prevention, instilling a sense of responsibility towards combating this global health challenge. The competition not only fostered artistic expression but also underscored the collective effort in championing public health initiatives(Through the synergy between the military and the School Community).
The participants while engaged in artistic expression, have also imbibed valuable lessons like contributing to a healthier, more informed society. Such collaborative endeavors reaffirm the commitment of both the armed forces and educational institutions to safeguarding the well-being of communities and fostering a culture of pro-active health awareness.”The celebration culminated with prize distribution ceremony wherein students declared winners in each category were awarded followed by distribution of refreshments.
