Amidst the joyous occasion of the inauguration of the Holy Ayodhya Ram Mandir Temple on January 22nd, the Yuva Rajput Sabha (YRS) spearheaded a spirited march yatra across various localities of Jammu Province. The enthusiasm-filled yatra traversed through Bantalab, Mishriwala, Old Jammu city, Marh, and culminated in the R.S Pura Sector.
Commencing the march yatra with the seeking of blessings at Radha Krishna Mandir in R.S Pura’s main market, the YRS team embarked on a rally that resonated with the fervor of the moment. The entire market of R.S Pura bore witness to the spectacle as the march yatra proceeded towards Suchetgarh, drawing thousands of participants along the way.
Amidst the vibrant rally, the air echoed with the resounding chants of “Jai Shri Ram” and “Santhan Dharm Ki Jai,” encapsulating the collective sentiment of the people. President of YRS, Vikram Singh Vicky, passionately appealed to the residents of R.S Pura to celebrate this historic day as a grand Diwali, urging them to illuminate the entirety of Jammu and Kashmir in the spirit of festivity.
The march yatra was not just a display of religious fervor but also a demonstration of unity, with Team YRS at the forefront. Notable members present during the march yatra included Surinder Singh Gilli, Rajan Singh Happy, Rajinder Singh, Darminder Singh, Mohan Singh, Prem Singh, Komal Singh, Mukesh Singh, Mandeep Singh, Vishal Singh, Prem Singh, Rajeev Jamwal, Raghuvir Singh, Sanjay Singh, Avtar Singh, Ajay Singh, along with hundreds of enthusiastic residents from R.S Pura.
As the yatra progressed, it reached the Indo-Pak International Border at Suchetgarh, emphasizing the significance of unity and the common thread that binds the people of the region. The march yatra concluded at the Old Raghunath Mandir Temple in Suchetgarh, where the participants sought blessings and prayed for the well-being of the region. President Vikram, in his closing remarks, called upon the administration to preserve and protect the ancient temples that stand as proud symbols of Dogra heritage. These temples, he emphasized, are integral to the identity of the region and should be conserved for future generations. The march yatra, organized by the Yuva Rajput Sabha, not only celebrated the inauguration of the Ram Mandir but also served as a platform for fostering unity, cultural pride, and a sense of communal responsibility among the people of Jammu and Kashmir.
