NSS Unit in collaboration with Red Ribbon Club of Dogra Degree College organized a live telecast of the inaugural session of the 27th National Youth Festival with an address by the esteemed Prime Minister Narendra Modi at Nasik Maharashtra to mark Swami Vivekananda Jayanti.
The event provided an invaluable opportunity for the NSS volunteers to engage with the spirit of the National Youth Festival and witness the inspiring inaugural session through a live telecast. The festival, known for promoting unity, diversity, and the cultural vibrancy of the youth, resonated well with the students.
NSS volunteers of Dogra Degree College, known for their active involvement in community service and social initiatives, expressed their excitement about being part of such a significant occasion. The live telecast allowed them to connect with the larger national youth community and gain insights into the diverse talents and contributions of young people across the country.
The Principal of the Dogra Degree College, Dr Bela Thakur commended the NSS volunteers for their proactive involvement in events that foster a sense of national identity and encourage social responsibility among the youth.

Priyanka Sharma, NSS Programme Officer expressed excitement about the event, stating, “We are honored to host the live screening of Prime Minister Modi’s address on Youth Day. The event was coordinated by Simran Thakur, Faculty in History & Member NSS and Rinkal Gupta, Faculty in commerce & Convener, Red Ribbon’s Club Dogra Degree College. Dr Bela Thakur, Principal, Dogra Degree College, Swati Mahajan, Faculty in Commerce, Anita Sharma, Faculty in Computer, Aditi Khajuria, Faculty in English and Balwant Singh, Faculty in Sociology were the other faculty members present at the event.
