Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra (VBSY), an innovative initiative aimed at spreading awareness about various Citizen Centric Schemes, successfully illuminated the urban community of Kathua through its Information, Education, and Communication (IEC) vans.
The VBSY is a government-led campaign that strives to empower citizens with knowledge regarding welfare schemes and programs designed to uplift their lives.
The IEC vans utilized in this campaign serve as mobile information hubs, equipped with audio-visual aids and knowledgeable personnel who guide and educate citizens about the benefits and importance of these schemes.
Today VBSY launched its IEC vans at Hiranagar in Urban leg of Kathua, where they embarked on a journey to educate and enlighten the urban population about the various initiatives taken by the government to improve their living standards. The vans covered key areas in Kathua, including busy markets, schools, and community centers, ensuring a wide reach and maximum impact. The IEC vans were equipped with state-of-the-art audiovisual equipment, interactive displays, and informative brochures that highlighted key features of Citizen Centric Schemes.
The knowledgeable and friendly staff aboard the vans engaged with citizens, patiently answering their queries, clarifying doubts, and encouraging active participation in these schemes. Through impactful presentations and personalized interactions, citizens were made aware of the schemes’ benefits and how to avail themselves of the opportunities offered.
VBSY’s IEC vans were received with enthusiasm by the citizens of Hiranagar, who appreciated the efforts undertaken to bring vital information directly to their doorstep. School children, shop owners, community leaders, and residents at large actively engaged with the initiative, seeking valuable guidance and expressing their interest in leveraging these schemes to enhance their lives.
EO MC Hiranagar expressed his satisfaction with the response received during the campaign, stating, “We are delighted to witness the overwhelming support from the citizens of Hiranagar, Kathua. Through this initiative, we aim to empower individuals by raising awareness about the numerous schemes and programs available to enhance their quality of life. We believe that informed citizens make for a stronger and more prosperous nation.”
VBSY intends to expand its outreach efforts by bringing the IEC vans to additional cities and towns across the country, ensuring no citizen is left uninformed about the incredible opportunities at their disposal.
