DOGRA HERALD BUREAU
Udhampur, Dec 7
While taking an overview of the public participation in various Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra programmes throughout length and breadth of Udhampur district, especially ones at Malhar, Battal, Mansar, Panchound, Majouri and other locations Mr. Ranbir Singh Pathania, Spokesperson BJP, and district incharge of Viksit Bharat Yatra, said that it is a golden window opportunity opened up by Bharat Sarkar under dynamic leadership of PM Modi ji to engage, aware and register people for availing benefits under centrally sponsored schemes. The developmental milieu and narrative of the country has changed with these schemes. This has made a defining moment for ‘Gramin Vikas and Swaraj’.
This programme has been planned and launched by Bharat Sarkar with an objective of popularizing the achievements, awaring people about various centrally sponsored schemes and registering left out, people who could not avail of the scheme due to one reason or the other.
Rather the programme can be used to strike out a viable platform for initiating a dialogue with common masses at Panchayat level. The very essence of the programme pivots around ‘awaring and emancipating’. First of all it creates awareness on the various schemes started by the central government as well as UT led dispensation.
It also acts as the on spot registration of various beneficiaries who missed the bus due to one reason or the other. This gives a viable platform for the people to put in their suggestions and all that.
Pathania called for greater participation of senior officers in the programmes. Those who have the capacity to act as resource persons should be deputed to the vebues of Viksit Bharat. We ahould act as harbingers of the policies and programmes of Bharat sarkar. Father departments/agencies should exploit this opportunity to involve a bigger number of people into these schemes and programmes. Mr Pathania elicited a civilian initiative and a movement in this regard. He called upon the peole to take this opportunity to avail various centrally sponsored schemes.
He called upon the departments and local people to ensure participation of greater number of people.
Prominent among those who were present includes Gopal Singh Mankotia Mandal Pardhan, Mohan Lal Sharma Mandal Pardhan, Baldev Singh Mankotia Mandal General Secretary, Shiv Darshan Singh, Monika Sharma Sarpanch, Sunita Sarpanch, and officers of various departments.
