3.8 magnitude earthquake hits J&K

Officials said that a low-intensity earthquake measuring 3.8 on the Richter scale hit Jammu and Kashmir on Thursday. J&K Meteorological Department said the tremors were felt at around 12.45 pm, and its epicentre was in Pakistan at a depth of 20 kilometres. There was no report of any casualty or major damage to property.
