A theft has been reported at a house in ward number 6, Bari Brahmana, from where the thieves have stolen gold jewelry and cash. The thieves have broken the lockers in the almirahs. The theft occurred during the day.

A family member said, “in the evening when I returned home, I saw that the main door of the house was broken. I immediately went to my room, where all my clothes were scattered on the bed. Then I went to the store where we have kept two almirahs; there, I saw that empty jewelry boxes were lying on the bed, and the cash was also missing from the almirahs.”

“I’m a government employee, and my wife is also a working lady. Twenty days back, I lost my grandmother, and five days back, I lost my aunt, and yesterday my parents went there while me and my wife went to the office. The thieves have stolen 46 grams of gold and 2 lakh rupees cash. An ASI arrived at our house and registered a case,” he further added.
