KISHTWAR: The court of Adjucating Officer Kishtwar (Additional Deputy Commissioner), Pawan Parihar today imposed a fine of Rs 1.16 lakh on 5 Food Business Operators (FBOs) for not following the prescribed norms under Food Safety and Standard Act (FSSA).
The erring FBOs were booked by a team of Food Safety during inspection in the Block Kishtwar, Paddar and Dachhan for supplying Misbranded consumables. Consequently the FBOs were summoned before the ADC, who is also the adjucating officer.
The ADC imposed a fine of Rs five Misbrand/Substandard cases to different FBOs under various sections of FSSA.
