KATRA JUNE 14 : Wrestler Kapil of Guru Hanuman Akhara Delhi lifts “15th Annual Karua Kesari Dangal 2017” by defeating Wrestler Kaka of R.S Pura, Jammu in the first malli bout that lasted for 16 minutes at Village Karua in Tehsil and District Reasi.The Dangal was organized by Karua Dangal Committee in collaboration with J&K Indian Style Wrestling Association under the overall supervision of President J&K Indian Style Wrestling Association Shiv Kumar Sharma and President of Karua Dangal Committee Master Banarsi Lal.In all 48 bouts were played in this one day long dangal. An amount of Rs. 1, 00,900/= has been incurred for conduct of the dangal. Additional Deupty Commissioner Reasi, Babu Ram contributed Rs. 11,000/- i.e, prize money of 1st malli to organizers.Winner of 1st malli main bout Wrestler Kapil received a cash prize of Rs. 6,000/-by Babu Ram Sharma, Shiv Kumar Sharma and Master Banarsi Lal while runner up Wrestler Kaka got Rs. 5,000/- by Sarpanch Ram Parkash, Z.E.O Pouni Gopal Krishan Komal and SHO Reasi Jasbir Singh.Additional Deupty Commissioner Reasi Babu Ram was the chief guest on the occasion who distributed cash prizes among the wrestlers. Joint Secretary J&K State Sports Council Shiv Kumar Sharma who is also Treasurer Indian Style Wrestling Association of India, Associate Vice President Wrestling Federation of India and President Senior Citizens Welfare Forum (Regd.) Katra presided over the function.ZEO Pouni Gopal Krishan Komal, SHO Reasi Jasbir Singh and General Secretary Reasi District Indian Style Wrestling Association Naresh Kumar (Pappu Lakri) were the guests of honour.2nd main bout was won by Paula of Himachal Pardesh who defeated Dillar Khan of J&K Police, 3rdbout was won by Bobari of Sarore who defeated Bhura of Himachal Pradesh and another bout was won by Sachin of Delhi who defeated Munner Khan of Nagrota. Sachin of Delhi adjudged as best Wrestler of the Dangal. He was cash awarded with Rs 500/-.Members of organizing committee and Technical officials who helped for conduct of this one day dangal included Master Bansi Lal (President), Sarpanch Ram Parkash, Sudesh Kumar, Satish Kumar, Shankeru, Rattan Lal, Sohan Lal, Anil Kumar, Deepak Kumar Master, Naresh Kumar (Pappu Lakri), Deepak Wazir, Murli Dhar (Munna), Romesh Bhagat, Pawan Singh & Master Ram Krishan.Other Results:- Rahul of R.S Pura beat Laikat Ali of Panthal, Swarn Singh of Kot Bhawal beat Hossiar Singh of Reasi, Mohd.
