Several social activists from Beerwah joined the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) on Wednesday. A statement said the party-joining function was held by members of the PDP’s Beerwah unit at party headquarters here which was. During the meeting chaired by Nazir Ahmad Khan, prominent social activists of Beerwah including Bashir Ahmad, Bupinder Singh and several others joined the party. The new entrants were welcomed by senior leaders including Abdul Hameed Kohseen, Haji Parvez, Arif Laigroo, Muhammad Shafi Kundangar, Manzoor Dar, Bashir Beig and Yousuf Abdullah.
