DDC Doda reviews progress of HADP, KKG Projects

District Development Commissioner (DDC) Doda Harvinder Singh convened a review meeting to assess the implementation and progress of projects under the Holistic Agriculture Development Programme (HADP) and Kisan Khidmat Ghar (KKG) initiative at DC Office Complex Doda.
The meeting also deliberated on the Action Taken Report (ATR) of the previous review. During the meeting, the DDC conducted a sector-wise assessment of ongoing activities and instructed officers of agriculture and allied departments to ensure close coordination for effective execution of schemes. The DDC also emphasized that these initiatives are pivotal in enhancing farmers’ income, modernizing farming practices, and strengthening the rural economy.
The DDC underscored the importance of timely completion of HADP projects, with special focus on providing farmers access to modern technology, training, and assured market linkages. Reviewing the functioning of Kisan Khidmat Ghars, he highlighted their role as single-window service centres for farmers to access the government schemes and services.
The meeting was attended by the CPO Manesh Kumar; Chief Agriculture Officer, Chief Horticulture Officer, Chief Animal Husbandry Officer and officers from Animal Husbandry, Sheep Husbandry, Fisheries and other allied departments.
