Adv Rajesh Gupta, senior leader of BJP, assumed his chair in the office of the President of District Jammu unit of the party.
Sat Sharma CA, President, J&K BJP, in presence of Yudhvir Sethi, MLA & BJP Vice-President, Arvind Gupta, MLA, Priya Sethi, National Executive Member and former minister, Rajinder Sharma, former Mayor, Parmod Kapahi, Former District President, and other senior leaders of party, greeted him on assuming the chair.
Traditional hawan was performed prior to occupying the post in the premises of Pt. Prem Nath Dogra Bhawan, Jammu.
The BJP flag was also hoisted on the occasion, by the party State President Sat Sharma.
Sat Sharma, while congratulating Adv Rajesh Gupta on the occasion, said that it is beautiful democratic culture of our party that after a fixed time span of 3 years, the whole organizational structure gets rebuilt leading to a fair and impartial structure of the organization. He said that it is a matter of satisfaction that the dedicated party workers like Adv Rajesh Gupta has assumed the chair of District President after a long election process and asked the new district president to discharge his duties with sincerity as a party’s representative in office. While giving him the suggestions to run the district smoothly and efficiently he asked the new district president to take along all the senior party functionaries in the organizational tasks.
Yudhvir Sethi, Arvind Gupta, Priya Sethi, Parmod Kapahi also wished good luck to the new district president.
Adv Rajesh Gupta expressed gratitude to the party cadre to provide him an opportunity to serve the organization as district president. He assured the senior party functionaries to work whole heartedly and devote time to serve as a bridge between the party and the people for better social contact.
