Rich Harvest School, popular for best education practices, today celebrated its Annual Day function of Pre Primary and Primary Wing in the school premises at Bari Brahmana.
The theme of the function was “Atulya Bharat: Spirit of incredible India” which showcased the rich cultural heritage of India.
The morning event was graced by the presence of Surjit Singh Slathia, MLA Samba and other prominent guests from all walks of life.
Slathia complimented the participants for showcasing their admirable talents. He further urged them to strike a fine balance between sports and academics to lead productive lives.
In both the sessions soon after the Lighting of the lamp, the dignitaries were accorded a formal welcome by Advocate Gambhir Dev Singh Charak , Trustee of the school followed by the cultural Bonanza presented by the enthusiastic kids. The Principal of the school presented the Annual Report of the year 2024 apart from highlighting the various achievements of the school in games and sports, athletics, Science& Mathematics Olympiads and other co-curricular activities also drew attention of the audience towards the academic achievements of the students. Th. Gulchain Singh Charak Former Minister and President Dogra Sadar Sabha J&K- the Presiding officer appreciated the students & their hardworking teachers for the outstanding performance at such a tender age.
Satish Sharma, Minister for Youth Services and Sports, Food & Supplies, Transport, ARI & Training was the Chief Guest in the afternoon event and was all praise for the innovative initiatives taken by the school to infuse confidence and encouragement in the small, kindergarten kids after witnessing the talented toddlers perform on the stage.
Prominent guests who also attended the function included Members of Rotary Club Jammu, Uma Katal Vice-Chairperson and Founder Rich Harvest, Ranbir Katal, Dr Samar Dev Singh Charak Secretary Dogra Educational Trust, Dr Bela Charak-Principal Dogra Degree College, Corporator Ramji, Rakesh Sharma-Incharge BJP, Bachan Lal, worthy Sarpanches and Panches.
The event culminated with the resounding applause by the audience.
