Nitish Mahajan, Co-Incharge of the Social Media Department of the BJP in Jammu and Kashmir, has expressed strong support for Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha’s decisive stance on rooting out terrorism from the Union Territory. Applauding LG Sinha’s recent statement warning that houses providing shelter to terrorists will face strict action, he reinforced the BJP’s commitment to eradicating terrorism from J&K with a policy of zero tolerance.
In a statement issued here today, Nitish Mahajan highlighted the importance of stringent measures in combating those who threaten the peace and security of innocent citizens. He reiterated that providing refuge to terrorists is an unforgivable act that puts entire communities at risk and warrants immediate action, including the demolition of properties used for such purposes. “There will be no mercy for those who kill innocents,” he stated, echoing LG Sinha’s strong message that the time has come for strict and unyielding measures.
Calling for a unified front, he stressed that the fight against terrorism is a responsibility shared by all political and social entities in Jammu and Kashmir. He urged local leaders to set aside differences and rally together for a common cause, pointing out that the restoration of statehood should not be politicized but rather approached as part of a collaborative effort to achieve lasting peace and stability in the region.
Nitish emphasized the BJP’s steadfast support for LG Sinha’s leadership in ensuring a safe environment for the people of Jammu and Kashmir. He expressed confidence that, with unity and resilience, J&K can emerge as a model of peace and development, free from the threat of terrorism.
