Union Home and Cooperation Minister and senior leader of the BJP, Amit Shah, while addressing the 119th annual session of the PHDCCI stated that PM Modi has laid the foundation for making India the foremost in every field in the world over the past 10 years.
When we look at the track record of the Modi Govt over the past 10 years, Shah’s claim of being dedicated to the construction of a New India appears to be 100% true.
PM Modi has undertaken the development of infrastructure, the work of making India a manufacturing hub globally, the creation of an investor-friendly ecosystem, the development of a skilled workforce, the promotion of research and development, and the initiative to make India a pioneer in emerging technologies, as well as new beginnings in areas such as deep-sea, maritime economy, and space, with great foresight. The world’s longest highway tunnel is in India today.
The highest railway bridge in the world is also in India. Infrastructure like the underwater metro in Kolkata has been developed in the past 10 years.
By connecting remote areas through optical fibre laid under the sea in Andaman and Nicobar and Lakshadweep, as well as hoisting the tricolour at the Shiv Shakti point on the Moon, is a matter of pride for every Indian.
Connecting underdeveloped areas through the Sagarmala project with a network of roads, opening a new avenue for comfortable travel across the country with the Vande Bharat train, by meeting not just the country’s but the world’s needs through semiconductor manufacturing, and bringing a new revolution in electric vehicles are significant achievements in themselves.
Today, we have become the largest and fastest-growing startup economy in the world. India has launched the world’s largest digital payment system, which is being adopted by other countries. From food security to health security, all dimensions have been ensured in the past 10 years.
The day is not far off when in 2047, the centenary of the country’s independence will be celebrated, and India will stand before the world as a fully developed nation, while also being included in the list of the top three economies by 2027. Not just the country, but the world has seen that Modi ji has been working with several plans for 10 years to achieve these two goals.
