VIJAYPUR, Sept 24
Apni Party’s Contesting Candidate for Vijaypur, and Former Minister, S. Manjit Singh has intensified his election campaign by holding large numbers of public meetings across the constituency, seeking vote and support for his candidature.
As per a press statement, the Former Minister addressed public meetings in Vijaypur and made a plea to the voters to vote him to the Legislative Assembly to revamp the development of the constituency which has remained negligent for decades.
“The farmers, villagers, youth and business community are worst hit with the policy adopted by the Govt that is directly controlled by the BJP. The BJP has compromised the rights of the people, and their future to the outsiders by allowing them to be involved in every trade and mining related works,” he said.
He said that the unemployed have become a history in Vijaypur and even in the entire J&K in the last 10 years of failed policies of the Govt.
“The public – administration gap has widened and the Govt has lost faith in the people because of its unilateral decisions which were imposed on people without consulting their representatives,” he said.
He said that “There is disappointment and hopelessness among the people because of the BJP. The BJP aimed to create division, and the slogan of development has been exposed as the condition of main roads and link roads is in the worst condition, and the infrastructural development has stopped since last one decade.”
He asked the people to change the regime by casting their votes in favour of the Apni Party candidate, S. Manjit Singh for Vijaypur constituency to bring a change.
“The Vijaypur will witness a historic development, employment, reservation of jobs in industries, and will fight for the rights of the farmers,” he stated, while educating them about the developmental and welfare schemes of the Apni Party that would be launched once the Party forms the Govt in Jammu and Kashmir.
If he gets elected to the assembly elections, he will ensure equitable development without discrimination with the people.
