Union Ministers, Dr. Jitendra Singh and G. Kishan Reddy, on Monday released a book titled ‘Vishdhara 370-Vibhajan Vibhishika’ during a function organized, here today.
The author of the book is Kulbhushan Mohetra. MP Jugal Kishore Sharma, BJP co-incharge, Ashish Sood, Working President, Sat Sharma, Kavinder Gupta (former Deputy Chief Minister), Nirmal Singh (former Deputy Chief Minister), Ashok Koul (General Secretary of the organization), and Chaudhary Sukhnandan (former minister), were also present on the occasion.
This book highlights the political and social impacts of Article 370, detailing its misuse.
To understand the adverse effects of Article 370, the notes written by Sanji Ram Gupta are of great importance.
These notes were written while he was imprisoned with Dr. Syama Prasad Mukherjee. Gupta shares his experiences of the torture and atrocities committed by the police during the historic ‘Ek Vidhan, Ek Nishan, Ek Pradhan’ (One Constitution, One Flag, One Leader) movement led by the Praja Parishad.
These notes were originally written in Urdu and have been translated into Hindi. Additionally, the book is also being published in Urdu for Urdu-speaking readers.
