Ranjit Chopra rejoins Congress Party amid warm welcome

Former General Secretary of Jammu and Kashmir Youth Congress (JKPYC), Ranjit Chopra, has rejoined the Congress Party, marking a significant return to the fold. Chopra had previously resigned from his position and aligned himself with the party led by former Chief Minister Ghulam Nabi Azad. The rejoining ceremony took place today in the presence of prominent Congress leaders, including Sh Mukesh Agnihotri, Deputy Chief Minister of Himachal Pradesh; Sh Bharatsinh Solanki, AICC General Secretary in charge of J&K Pradesh Congress Committee; Sh Ravinder Sharma, Chief Spokesperson JKPCC; and Sh Rajveer Singh, among others.
During the event, Sh Bharatsinh Solanki emphasized the significance of Chopra’s return, stating, “Ranjit Chopra went away from us due to some reasons in 2022, but a flower of the Congress party can only grow and bloom in the Congress’ flower-bed.”
The Congress Party welcomes Ranjit Chopra back, affirming its commitment to unity and collective progress in Jammu and Kashmir.
