Congress Seva Dal Jammu Kashmir President Vijay Sharma Babbi is preparing to contest elections from Bahu assembly seat of Jammu district.
He will start the election campaign after receiving orders from the party. Vijay Sharma’s family has been associated with Congress since the beginning and he too has spent almost three decades working in the party.
Vijay Sharma first joined Congress as booth agent and booth president. After this, considering his work, he was appointed head of the ward. Due to his ability to convey the party’s message strongly to the local people, he was later appointed secretary of the block.
After being associated with Congress in various positions, he joined Congress Seva Dal as General Secretary. After this, he was given the post of Deputy Prime Minister and considering his honesty towards the party, he became the President of Congress Seva Dal in the year 2021. Good coordination with ground level workers and good understanding of local issues are positive points of Vijay Sharma. Congress Seva Dal has a strong cadre of its own. Recently he took out a tiranga rally from Lal Chowk to the party office in Kashmir. Apart from this, wherever party program is held in Jammu division, Congress Seva Dal remains at the forefront. Apart from Jammu, Vijay Sharma has expanded Congress Seva Dal to Chenab Valley and Kashmir also. Today they have a good number of members and if they contest elections, Congress Seva Dal soldiers will become their biggest strength
