Dogra Degree College in collaboration with INFOSYS and ICT Academy organizes a 15-Days Students’ Training Program in the college campus to enhance the overall skills and holistic development of the students. The college is the first college chosen from the Jammu and Kashmir by INFOSYS and ICT Academy to host such a training programme for their students in which the students will be trained and equipped with certain technical ,and professional skills for their personal and professional growth. This training programme is scheduled to be a 100 hours training programme that will enhance the 21st century skills of the students and communication skills in particular. The Training programme is scheduled to be held on 27/08/2024 to 12/09/2024.
The programme commenced today on 27/08/2024 with the inaugural function which was organized in the college auditorium. The event started with wonderful introduction about the training programme by Ms Aditi Khajuria, Faculty Dogra Dogra College. The CHIEF Guest of the function was Dr. Samar Dev Singh Charak ,Secretary ,Dogra Educational Trust .The Chief Guest ,Resource persons and the dignitaries commenced the programme with the divine ritual of Lamp Lighting and seeking blessings of Goddess Saraswati for the successful and fruitful result of this training programme.
The welcome Address was presented by Dr. Bela Thakur, Principal Dogra Degree college. In her address, she welcomed the chief guest, Dignitaries ,Resource Persons and students in this 15 -day traning programme .She welcomed the resource persons Ms Zenab and Mr. Aadil who have come here in the college to equip our students with essential and useful skills.
Ajaaz Yousuf , Relationship Manger, ICT Academy in his address thanked the Principal ,and staff of Dogra Degree College for their great efforts to organise this training programme and providing venue for the same.
This training will be a great initiative by the college to enhance skills of their students.
Dr. Samar Dev Singh Charak, in his address, congratulated the principal and staff of Dogra Degree college for organizing a wonderful event for 15 days to enhance their skills personally and professionally. He appreciated the students spirit to participate in such programmes enthusiastically.
Dr. Dharamveer Sharma , Dean Academic Affairs, DET, congratulated Dogra Degree College for a good effort and such workshops and training programme should be organized regularly in the campus.
The vote of thanks was presented by Ms Kanchan Dubey, IQAC Coordinator, DDC. The Event was well conducted and coordinated by Ms Aditi.
