Students of Dogra Degree College collaborate with Municipal Committee Bari Brahmana for Swachhta Pakhwada

In a commendable display of community service, students of National Service Scheme (NSS) unit, Dogra Degree College actively participated in the Swachhta Pakhwada, a cleanliness drive organized in collaboration with Municipal Committee Bari Brahmana.
The event saw active participation from Ajay Kumar Sangra, Executive Officer of Bari Brahmana Municipality and Tax Inspector Kamal Raj Saini, the Swachhta Pakhwada aimed to enhance public awareness and action towards cleanliness and sanitation. The students, under the guidance of Simran Thakur, NSS Programme Officer, DDC, engaged in various activities designed to improve the local environment.
During the fortnight-long initiative, the students will participate in numerous activities, including awareness drive and community clean-up efforts. Their involvement will not only contributed to a cleaner community but also highlight the importance of maintaining a healthy and clean environment.
Ajay Kumar Sangra praised the initiative, enthusiasm and dedication shown by the students of Dogra Degree College. He said that their efforts are a testament to the impact of collaborative community initiatives in achieving cleanliness and public health objectives.”
Principal, Dr. Bela Thakur expressed pride in the students’ involvement, noting, “Our students have demonstrated exceptional commitment and responsibility through their participation in this event.
Such initiatives are crucial in fostering a culture of cleanliness and civic duty among the youth.”
Tax Inspector Kamal Raj Saini also lauded the students’ efforts, saying, “The active participation of the students in this cleanliness drive has been impressive. Their dedication is an inspiration and contributes significantly to the overall success of the Swachhta Pakhwada.”
