NCC ‘C’ Certificate Examination Successfully Conducted for Ladakh Cadets

The NCC ‘C’ Certificate Examination for the training year 2023-24 was successfully conducted for the cadets of 1 Ladakh Battalion NCC at EJM College, Leh, on 20 and 21 July 2024. This significant event marked the culmination of three years of rigorous training for the cadets, providing them with a valuable certification that enhances their employment prospects.
The examination was conducted in two parts. The practical exam took place on 20 July 2024 and included tests in drill, weapon training, map reading, communication, and field & battle craft.
These tests assessed the cadets’ hands-on skills and their ability to apply their training in real-life scenarios. The written exam was held on 21 July 2024 and was a comprehensive three-hour paper that evaluated the cadets’ theoretical knowledge.
Brigadier Deepak Sajjanhar, SM, Group Commander, oversaw the conduct of these exams.
His presence provided invaluable guidance and motivation to the cadets, ensuring the examination process was smooth and efficient. Brigadier Sajjanhar’s leadership was instrumental in maintaining the high standards of the NCC training and examination process.
This year, the examination saw the participation of 84 cadets from the Ladakh region, with 30 boys (SD cadets) and 54 girls (SW cadets) taking part. The successful completion of the NCC ‘C’ Certificate Examination is a testament to the dedication and hard work of both the cadets and the instructors who have trained them over the past three years.
The NCC ‘C’ Certificate is a prestigious certification that significantly enhances the employability of the cadets, opening up various career opportunities in both the armed forces and civilian sectors. The training and the certification process equip the cadets with essential skills and knowledge, making them valuable assets to any organization they join in the future.
