The Rich Harvest School (RHS) recently hosted a comprehensive workshop cum awareness programme focused on Fire Safety and Disaster Management. The event was conducted by Jograj Singh Jasrotia from the Fire Brigade Department, who brought valuable insights and practical knowledge to the participants. Jasrotia provided an in-depth discussion on the various types of fires and effective methods to extinguish them. He demonstrated the creation of a human stretcher using staff members to aid in the rescue of injured or unconscious victims during emergencies. Alongside his team, he showcased the administration of first aid to the injured, emphasizing critical techniques and precautions.
Furthermore, he imparted crucial tips on self-preservation during earthquakes, ensuring the attendees were well-informed about safety measures in such scenarios.
Anita Bhatia, Head of the Institute, expressed her gratitude towards Jograj Singh Jasrotia and his team for delivering an excellent and informative awareness programme. She highlighted the importance of such training sessions in enhancing the safety and preparedness of the community.
