Medical patrols play a crucial role in the remote underdeveloped areas of south of Pir Panjal region by providing essential health care service to underserved communities particularly those residing in far-flung areas. Indian Army at Hatta Seri, Rajouri district carried out a medical patrol in conjunction with area domination patrols especially for Gujjar and Bakarwal communities. These medical patrols aim to provide essential medical assistance and healthcare services to remote areas where access is limited. The initiative underscores Indian Army’s commitment to the welfare of Gujjar and Bakarwal communities, thus ensuring that no one is left behind in receiving crucial medical attention while migrating to their summer locations.
