Inaugurates trade fair at Satwari

Kavinder Gupta, senior BJP leader and former Deputy Chief Minister, today inaugurated a vibrant trade fair at Satwari area of Jammu city. The event showcased a diverse array of crafts and unique utility products, attracting both local and outside Union Territory traders.
After inaugurating the trade fair, Kavinder Gupta visited all the stalls, engaging with entrepreneurs. He commended the variety and quality of products on display, noting the fair as a significant opportunity for traders from various states to unite and present their crafts on a common platform. The trade fair was organized by Sahil Verma. Senior BJP leaders Vinay Gupta, Bharat Bhushan Vice Chairman Cantonment Board, Sanjay Gupta and Amreek Singh Ex Corporator Cantonment Board accompanied the former deputy Chief Minister.
Speaking at the event, Kavinder emphasized the importance of such trade fairs in promoting local crafts and products.
“This trade fair provides an excellent opportunity for traders from different regions to come together, showcase their crafts, and exchange knowledge,” he stated. He highlighted the high demand for various items from Jammu and Kashmir, not only within India but also internationally.
The former deputy Chief Minister advised entrepreneurs to prioritize maintaining the highest quality of their products while also focusing on increasing bulk production and sales. He emphasized that quality and scalability are crucial for meeting both local and global market demands.
Reflecting on the current economic landscape, Kavinder stressed the need for making trade fairs a regular feature. “The present era demands that trade fairs should be a regular occurrence to provide a platform for entrepreneurs to sell their products and share their expertise,” he said, underscoring the role of such events in fostering collaboration, innovation, and growth among traders and entrepreneurs.
