BJP to hold district-wise seminar on life history of S P Mukherjee

Ravinder Raina, President of Jammu & Kashmir BJP, today chaired a meeting to review the ongoing fortnight campaign in connection with the death anniversary of Shyama Prasad Mukherjee. The campaign, which began on June 23 and will continue until July 6, aims to honor and remember the life and contributions of the prominent leader.
The meeting saw the attendance of key BJP leaders including Chander Mohan Gupta J&K BJP Vice President and former Mayor Jammu; Yudhvir Sethi, J&K BJP Vice President; Assem Gupta; and Billay Parray, all In-charges of the Campaign.
During the meeting, Ravinder Raina emphasized the importance of the campaign and directed senior BJP leaders to organize district-wise seminars focused on the life history and significant contributions of Shyama Prasad Mukherjee. He highlighted Mukherjee’s role in shaping the nation’s political landscape and his enduring legacy.
Chander Mohan Gupta expressed his commitment to ensuring the success of the campaign, stating, “This is an opportunity for us to reconnect with the values and principles that Shyama Prasad Mukherjee stood for. We must work tirelessly to spread his message of unity and national integrity.”
Yudhvir Sethi underscored the impact of Mukherjee’s work and the relevance of his ideals in today’s context. He said, “Shyama Prasad Mukherjee’s vision and dedication to the nation have left an indelible mark on Indian politics. It is our duty to educate the younger generation about his contributions and ensure that his legacy continues to inspire us.”
Assem Gupta, senior BJP leader highlighted the need for active participation from all members of the party and the community. He said, “By organizing these seminars and events, we are not only paying tribute to a great leader but also educating the masses about the significance of his contributions to our nation.” Billay Parray, senior BJP leader emphasized the importance of youth engagement in the campaign. He remarked, “Involving the younger generation in these activities is crucial. They are the torchbearers of Mukherjee’s legacy, and it is essential for them to understand and appreciate the values he championed.”
The campaign will feature a series of events including seminars, discussions, and cultural programs across various districts of Jammu & Kashmir. These activities aim to engage the public and spread awareness about Mukherjee’s life and the values he stood for.
