With the aim of reviewing the assembly elections in Jammu and Kashmir and the recently concluded Lok Sabha elections, a meeting was organized by the Bahujan Samaj Party today at the party office in Cantonment Satwari, in which Bahujan Samaj Party Jammu and Kashmir Coordinator and former MP Raja Ram and Dr. Avtar Singh Karimpuria was chief Guest. During this meeting, chaired by BSP State President Darshan Rana, senior leaders and workers of the party were present during the meeting. While the recently concluded Lok Sabha elections were discussed in the meeting, discussions were also held about the upcoming assembly elections in Jammu and Kashmir.
Addressing the meeting on this occasion, BSP state coordinator and former MP Raja ram said that Bahujan Samaj Party fielded its candidates on Lok Sabha seats in Jammu and Kashmir and the party got full support of the common people! However, due to some reason the party could not win these Lok Sabha seats, but in the assembly elections to be held in Jammu and Kashmir, Bahujan Samaj Party will field its candidates on all the assembly seats and the party will participate in the assembly elections with strength. He appealed to the party leaders and workers to start preparing for the assembly elections to be held in Jammu and Kashmir from now so that the party can win most of the assembly seats.
At the same time, the party’s state coordinator and EX MP Dr. Avtar Singh Karimpuria addressed the meeting and said that the Bahujan Samaj Party candidates have received full support of the people in the recently concluded Lok Sabha elections.
He said that now the assembly elections to be held in Jammu and Kashmir can be announced anytime and the Bahujan Samaj Party is fully prepared for these elections. He appealed to the party workers to work to reach the party’s policies to the common people. Addressing the meeting, State President Darshan Rana said that the party had participated in the Lok Sabha elections with full strategy and the party will also participate in the assembly elections with strength and strategy. He said that in the Lok Sabha elections, some political parties tried to mislead the party workers, but now the state Bahujan Samaj Party will participate in these elections with full strategy and the party will field its candidates in the Jammu division as well as Kashmir division and will win.
He said that Bahujan Samaj Party is getting stronger in Jammu and Kashmir and people’s trust in the party is increasing continuously. During the meeting, Bahujan Samaj Party’s state general secretary Shashi Bhushan Thapa, state coordinator Gaurav, S. Raja Singh, Bishan Das Bhagat, Tilak Raj Bhagat, Jagdish Bhagat, Jagdish Verma, Pritam Chand, Pushp Kumar Tarsem Lal and Gurdev Singh along with other party leaders were also present during the meeting.
