In a determined effort to support the long-pending demand for a Satellite Duggar Channel, the Doordarshan Approved Drama Artists Association (DADAA) held a signature campaign at Shivaji Chowk, Railway Road, Nanak Nagar, Jammu. The campaign, which took place on Tuesday, witnessed significant participation from the general public, as people from all walks of life came forward to support the cause.
DADAA, a registered association, has been tirelessly advocating for the Satellite Duggar Channel to protect and promote the cultural heritage, art, and languages of Duggar Pradesh. We appeal to all the people of Duggar land to join hands with us to achieve this target and urge all organizations to raise their voices in support of the channel,” he said.
Vice President of DADAA, Madan Rangila, announced that the next signature campaign would be held at Vijaypur, District Samba, on 19 June 2024. He also mentioned that a new chapter of DADAA would be inaugurated in District Samba during the campaign, further expanding the association’s reach and influence.
The campaign at Shivaji Chowk was attended by several prominent members of DADAA, including Dr. Kamal Sharma, Rajinder Narang, Subhas Jamwal, Harbans Sharma, and S. Kumar.
Their presence underscored the unity and determination of the association in its pursuit of the Satellite Duggar Channel.
Participants at the event expressed their views on the importance of the channel. Many highlighted how the channel would provide a platform for local artists to showcase their talents, promote the region’s unique cultural identity, and offer educational content in local languages.
