JAMMU: Nitish Mahajan, Co-incharge BJP’s Social Media Department, J&K today lauded the impressive voter turnout of 59% in the Baramulla Parliamentary Constituency in the fifth phase of Lok Sabha in Jammu and Kashmir, remarking that it was the direct result of the Modi Government’s inclusive policies and development initiatives.
In a statement issued here today, Nitish lauded the remarkable display of democratic fervor exhibited by the electorate of Srinagar, emphasizing the significance of their enthusiastic engagement in shaping the future trajectory of the region. He noted that such a substantial turnout is a testament to the growing faith and confidence of the people in the democratic process.
Nitish emphasized that the Modi Government’s efforts to improve the living standards of all citizens, irrespective of any biases or prejudices, played a major role in creating a conducive environment for the high voter turnout. He expressed immense satisfaction and pride that the people continued to repose their faith and trust in the transparent and accountable governance of the Modi Government.
He also noted that the election saw an unprecedented participation of women voters, highlighting the Government’s commitment to creating a safe and secure environment for all women in the country.
Nitish reiterated the BJP’s unwavering commitment to championing the aspirations and welfare of the people of Jammu & Kashmir. He affirmed the party’s resolve to continue working tirelessly towards promoting peace, stability, and inclusive development in the region, in alignment with the vision of a New India envisioned by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
