The Army and Borderless World Foundation organised a medical camp to provide much-needed healthcare services to border area villages in Pallanwala.
The medical camp was held at Pallanwala and was attended by healthcare professionals including six specialists and other medical staff. A range of specialists including Gynecologists, Orthopedic, Pediatrician, Dermatologist & Physicians provided medical care to the border villages.
The medical professionals also provided education on various health topics such as hygiene, nutrition and disease prevention while spreading awareness on various Govt initiatives like mission IndraDhanush, Janani Suraksha Yojana, Ayushman Bharat Yojana and National Health Mission among others. Due to their remote location, these villages often have limited access to healthcare services. The medical camp was aimed at addressing this gap in healthcare services and providing essential medical care to those in need along with distribution of medicines, free of cost. Woman health and safe motherhood were also central themes of the camp. More than hundred villagers were benefited through this camp. The Army and Borderless World Foundation are committed to continuing their efforts to provide quality healthcare services to communities in border areas.
The Army and Borderless World Foundation would like to extend their sincere thanks to all the healthcare professionals who participated in the medical camp and made it a success.
