The participation of the NCC cadets of 2 J&K Boys Battalion in the commemoration of General Zorawar Singh’s 238th Birth Anniversary, organized by the Jammu & Kashmir Ex-Servicemen League, underscored their fervent dedication to honoring the valiant heroes of our nation’s history. This event, graced by esteemed dignitaries including the Chief Guest, Lieutenant Governor of the Union Territory of Jammu & Kashmir, Mr. Manoj Sinha, served as a poignant reminder of the sacrifices made by those who have served in the armed forces.
In the presence of notable figures such as President JKESL Lt Gen RK Sharma, AVSM, SM (Retd), Maj Gen GS Jamwal, AVSM, SM (Retd), GOC 26 Inf Div, Maj Gen Gaurav Gautam, and numerous veterans of JAK RIF, the solemn atmosphere was imbued with reverence for Gen Zorawar Singh’s heroic legacy.
Throughout the event, the NCC cadets had the opportunity to deepen their understanding of Gen Zorawar Singh’s remarkable contributions and the enduring spirit of the armed forces.
