DHSS celebrates Baisakhi with great fervour

The students and staff of Dogra Hr Sec School celebrated Baisakhi with great Zeal and enthusiasm. A special assembly was held to mark the occasion. The celebrations began with the recital of Shabad Kirtan followed by group songs and poems explaining the significance of the day. Tiny Tots of the school performed Bhangra in their colourful attires and made the occasion graceful.
Managing Director Kunwar Gambhir Dev Singh Charak led the festivities with an inspiring address, emphasizing the significance of Baisakhi in our cultural heritage.
Principal Mrs. Devinder Kour in her address, highlighted the importance of embracing tradition while pursuing academic excellence. She also acknowledged the diligence of students and teachers and congratulated all of them for making the event possible.
The festivities were further elevated by Incharge Activity Mrs. Sheetal’s heartfelt address, resonating with the spirit of unity and communal harmony symbolized by Baisakhi. Adding to the cultural fervor, students showcased their devotion through soul-stirring recitations of Shabads, encapsulating the essence of the occasion.
The solemn Ardas conducted by Mrs. Balbir Kour served as a poignant reminder of the values of humility and gratitude embedded in the festival. In the true spirit of community, Kadha Prasaad was distributed among all attendees, symbolizing blessings and shared prosperity.
