The 35th Jat Sanskriti Sammelan, a prestigious cultural event showcasing the rich heritage of the Jat community, was organized in Bijnor District, Uttar Pradesh.
The event witnessed the esteemed presence of Ch Manmohan Singh, President of All India Jat Maha Sabha, Jammu and Kashmir, who graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. Justice R.A Singh, former Judge High Court, Rajendra Singh, Information Commissioner UP, Siddharth Singh, Commissioner, SK Verma, IAS retd, Harpal Singh and other prominent members of the Community graced the occasion.
Ch Manmohan Singh was warmly welcomed with a rousing reception upon his arrival at the Sammelan, reflecting the deep respect and admiration that the Jat community holds for him. The enthusiastic reception set the tone for a memorable gathering that celebrated the Jat culture in all its glory.
On the occasion, Ch Manmohan along with other honoured the meritorious students and sports players from the community.
During his address, Ch Manmohan Singh emphasized the significance of familiarizing the new generation with the values and traditions of Jat culture. He stressed the importance of preserving and promoting the timeless customs that define the Jat community’s identity. He believed that by understanding their heritage, the new generation will have a sense of pride and appreciation for the Jat community, and this will help preserve their unique traditions for years to come.
Ch Manmohan Singh highlighted the need to uphold the sacred institution of inter-caste marriages and encouraged the utmost respect for elders and parents. He emphasized that our collective identity lies in practicing patriotism and fostering a strong sense of unity among all members of society.
Furthermore, Ch Manmohan Singh called upon the members of Jat Community to exhibit exemplary behavior and to maintain universal brotherhood and communal harmony. He emphasized the essence of peaceful coexistence and mutual understanding, urging everyone to prioritize these values above all else.
Ch Manmohan also urged community children to respect and obey their parents, recognizing the invaluable wisdom and guidance they provide. This call for parental respect struck a chord with the audience, highlighting the deep-rooted values that define the Jat community.
Later, the dignitaries released a calendar dedicated to Ch Manmohan Singh for his contributions to the community.
Sidhharth Choudhary, Suresh Arya, and Rana ji, distinguished senior members of the Sammelan, lauded Ch Manmohan Singh’s efforts in championing the cause of obtaining OBC status for the Jat community. They commended his tireless pursuits, recognizing the potential benefits this status would bring to the present younger generation of the community. This acknowledgment served as a testament to Ch Manmohan Singh’s unwavering dedication and his commitment to uplifting the Jat community.
