Vikramaditya Singh, Trustee of J&K Dharmarth Trust, undertook a visit to the iconic Shri Ranbireshwar Temple, Jammu, to assess the progress of ongoing restoration efforts within the temple premises. During his visit, Vikramaditya Singh expressed profound satisfaction at the commendable pace and quality of the restoration and renovation works being carried out in preparation for the upcoming Maha Shivratri Festival. The Shri Ranbireshwar Temple, dedicated to Lord Shiva and constructed under the patronage of Maharaja Ranbir Singh in 1883, stands as a beacon of spiritual significance in the heart of Jammu city.
Vikramaditya Singh has assured the devotees of timely access to this revered temple in view of upcoming Maha Shivratri Festival. He disclosed that the Shri Ranbireshwar Temple will be fully opened for devotees in the first week of April 2024 and then the Trust will also showcase its achievements in preserving and promoting the rich cultural heritage of Jammu and Kashmir.
Meanwhile, Vikramaditya Singh along with R.K Martand Singh, Trustee, visited the Central Office of J&K Dharmarth Trust and inspected the functioning of the management and officers.
Trust’s President Brig R.S Langeh (Retd) along with Secretary Ashok Kumar Sharma welcomed the Trustees and briefed them about the functioning of the Trust.
The Trustees closely examined the functioning of the management and officers, emphasizing the importance of efficiency and dedication in their duties. They directed both officers and employees to work with renewed dedication to fulfill the objectives of the Trust.
R.K Martand Singh asked the employees to work relentlessly with utmost sincerity for enhancing the image of the Trust. He highlighted the collective effort required to uphold the Trust’s values and achieve its mission of serving the community.
Later, Vikramaditya Singh also visited Shri Raghunathji Temple, Jammu, and inspected the upgraded kitchen with modernized infrastructure, for the preparation of Bhog offerings for the deities in the temple complex. He expressed satisfaction and encouraged continued efforts to maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and efficiency in the sacred space.
The Trustee Vikramaditya Singh also reviewed the ongoing renovation works at Rani Samadhi’s complex, comprising Samadhis of the Royal Dogra Maharanis and Ranis, in Jammu. He directed the officials accompanied to expedite the restoration efforts, ensuring that the cultural heritage of the site is safeguarded for future generations.
