Jammu and Kashmir Rural Livelihood Mission (JKRLM) hosted SARAS AAJEEVIKA Jammu 2.0, an exceptional exhibition highlighting the diverse and vibrant art and culture of rural India.
The extraordinary event took place at the Vibrant Aquaplex crown Bahu Fort from 10th February onwards. Building upon the success of the previous chapter, this second edition of SARAS AAJEEVIKA promises an even greater celebration of India’s rich cultural heritage.
Saras Aajevika Jammu 2.0 featured an impressive showcase of 60 unique stalls, with participants from outside the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir. These stalls displayed a fusion of products from various regions of India, providing visitors with a true representation of the country’s artistry and craftsmanship.
With a strong commitment to promoting financial independence, the meta also serves as a platform for empowering self-help group (SHG) members supported by the day NRLM from across states such as Rajasthan, Telangana, Tamil Nadu, Punjab, Kerala ,UP, Bihar, Haryana, Andhra Pradesh, Odisha and others. These members exhibited and sold their products, demonstrating their skills and entrepreneurial spirit. At Saras Aajeevika Jammu 2.0, visitors immersed themselves in a plethora of handicrafts, handloom and other products.
