The transformative impact of the Modi Government’s actions in Jammu and Kashmir cannot be overstated. By revoking Article 370, the government has not only dismantled barriers to development but also paved the way for unprecedented progress in the Union Territory. Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visionary leadership has been instrumental in steering Jammu and Kashmir towards a path of growth and prosperity.
This was stated by Rakesh Mahajan, Incharge All Cells, BJP, J&K, while initiating a Gaon Chalo Abhiyan at Booth No. 132, Mandal Trikuta Nagar of Bahu Constituency. This drive was initiated on the instructions of Party High Command in view of upcoming Lok Sabha Polls. Sandeep Kumar, Shelja Gupta, Mandal President Lucky Puri, Ward President Ajay Jamwal and Rajinder kaul also accompanied with Rakesh Mahajan
During the Gaon Chalo Abhiyan, Rakesh Mahajan interacted with beneficiaries of central sponsored schemes, emphasizing the importance of cleanliness in religious places and community participation. He also held discussions with respectable citizens such as doctors, retired bankers, engineers, and businessmen, recognizing their valuable contribution in the society. Strengthening the booth was a focal point of his interactions, as he rallied booth presidents and Panna Parmukh to ensure maximum voter turnout during elections, underscoring the significance of democratic participation in shaping the nation’s future.
Throwing light on the achievement of Modi Govt in Jammu and Kashmir, Rakesh Mahajan said that the establishment of prestigious institutions such as the Indian Institutes of Management (IIM) and Indian Institutes of Technology (IIT), along with the introduction of two AIIMS facilities in J&K, represents a significant investment in the region’s educational and healthcare infrastructure. Moreover, the development of critical infrastructure projects like the ring road and the Katra-Amritsar-Delhi expressway has not only improved connectivity within Jammu and Kashmir but has also opened up new avenues for trade, tourism, and economic development. This comprehensive approach to infrastructure development under the Modi regime has catalyzed economic growth, created job opportunities, and empowered the people of Jammu and Kashmir to realize their full potential.
As a result, the J&K UT is now poised to enter a new era of prosperity and development, with its citizens benefiting from enhanced access to education, healthcare, and economic opportunities.
Rakesh Mahajan appealed to the people of Bhau constituency to strengthen the hands of Prime Minister Modi in the upcoming Lok Sabha polls.
He emphasized the significance of aligning with Prime Minister Modi’s vision for progress, development, and prosperity, stressing that the collective support of the people is essential to ensure the successful implementation of policies and programs that benefit every individual, family, and community in Jammu and Kashmir.
