MSCBMC Trust holds National Art Workshop at GMS Kalyar in Mathwar

The Master Sansar Chand Baru Memorial Charitable Trust today organized a National Art Workshop at Government Middle School Kalyar in Mathwar, drawing enthusiastic participation from students of various government schools in the vicinity.
Led by President Anuradha Rishi, the Master Sansar Chand Baru Memorial Charitable Trust initiated a week-long National Art Workshop titled ‘Trikuta – The Maharani of Mountains’. The workshop features a distinguished team of ten nationally renowned artists from across the country including Ashok Kumar, Gopal K Samantray, Gouri Vemula, Jiban Biswas, Nilesh Vede, Rahul J Mhetra, Ranjeeta Kumar, Sanju Das, Suman Dongre, and Vijay Kumar, who are actively engaging with students to impart artistic skills and insights.
On the second day of the workshop, students from Government High School Mathwar, Government Middle School Mawa, Government Primary School Parla Mathwar, and Government Primary School Keri Mathwar enthusiastically jointly participated in the workshop at Government Middle School Kalyar in Mathwar.
The participating artists not only demonstrated various artistic techniques but also interacted with students, providing them with valuable guidance and encouragement. Additionally, the artists distributed gifts among the students, fostering a spirit of creativity and camaraderie.
Anuradha Rishi, President of the Trust expressed her heartfelt gratitude to the Director of School Education and the dedicated school teachers for their invaluable support in facilitating the art workshop.
Emphasizing the importance of such art workshops, she highlighted the vast potential of local students in remote areas like Mathwar, where opportunities for learning art skills are scarce. She called upon the government to extend support for organizing more workshops in such underserved regions, emphasizing the transformative impact it could have on the lives of students and communities.
Furthermore, Anuradha Rishi urged the government to promote Mathwar as a cultural hub, emphasizing the potential for tourism, employment generation, and economic growth in the region.
She also extended special thanks to Petronet LNG for their generous support in making the art workshop possible.
