The Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) of Dogra Degree College organized the Investiture Ceremony today.
On the occasion, Th. Gulchain Singh Charak ji, Chairman of Dogra Educational Trust, was the chief guest, while Dr. Samar Dev Singh Charak, Secretary of the Trust, was the Guest of Honour.
The event commenced with the lighting of the lamp by esteemed dignitaries. Balwant Singh, Coordinator of the Student Council at DDC, delivered the welcome address.
The entire program was orchestrated to honor the newly elected members of the Student Council at Dogra Degree College. These students were entrusted with various responsibilities and roles, serving as representatives across different Classes, Cells, Committees, Units, and Clubs within the college.
In the first session, Kashavi Charak, Student Representative Literary Club, DDC made the students aware about the roles and responsibilities of the Student Council. She also made it clear to the young minds about the actual reason of creating such student councils.
Various students were elected by the staff and students through the proper voting by the Electoral Club DDC. The elected members were given with the badges by the respected chairman sir and other dignitaries in the function.
Daksh Bamba, student of B.Com 3rd Year was elected as the president of the college, Daksha Kaushal, student of B.Com 2nd year was elected as Vice-President and Dhairya Singh Jamwal, student of BBA 1st year was elected as the Secretary. The various students were elected as Class Representatives were Jatin Sharma, Aradhana Pandey, Akash Charak, Taniya Rajput, Sukhpreet Kaur, Aditya Pal Singh, Bhanu Partap, Vishali Kumari, Aman Singh, Priyanka Charak, Sania Rajput, Harshdeep Singh, Shubam Bhagat, Taniya Kumari, Rahul Kalotra, Janbi, Satbeer Singh, Komal Sanotra, Aditya Dhir, Diksha Bhagat, Rukshar Nisha, Aman Singh, Anuragh Thakur, Manpreet Kour, Diksha Kumari, Ayushi, Manjot Kour, Bhavya Abrol, Akshita, Anamika, Javida Begum, Savita, Saksham Rampal, Satyam, Ananya Verma, Nandhini Bhau, Mansakshi Thakur, Akul Gupta, Nisha Kumari, Shaheen Nisha, Vishali Kumari, Jiya Kaith, Taniya Khajurai, Divya Pagral, Prathmansh, Parul Verma, Sakham Yadav, Rachita Jaryal, Manya Bhardwaj, Chiranjeev Singh, Tehmeen Bhat, Sandeep Kumar, Hardik Hans, Anish Pawar, Hansika, Simranjot Singh, Harmeet Kaur, Muskan Devi, Shalini Singh Manhas, Jatin Sharma, Anshika Vaid, Shruti Salathia, Sarabjeet Singh, Ankit Singh and Anuj Sardhalia.
The newly elected members of the student council also took the Oath for dedicatedly working and conducting their respective responsibilities with positivity, creativity and whole heartedly.
Th. Gulchain Singh Charak Ji congratulated the Principal, Staff and Students of Dogra Degree College for organizing such a wonderful Investiture Ceremony and giving the wonderful opportunity to the young minds to serve their institution and nation. He also made the newly elected members aware about the responsibilities that they have been mounted on their young shoulders and to bring new laurels to their institutions with their young energy which have been wonderfully channelized by giving them such kind of responsibilities, he added.
The vote of thanks was presented by Daksha Kaushal, Vice-President, Student Council, DDC. The programme concluded with the singing of the National Anthem. The whole programme was ably conducted by Chiranjeev Singh, Member Student Council, DDC.
