DOGRA HERALD BUREAU
JAMMU, Feb 6
Shiv Sena (UBT) Jammu and Kashmir unit strongly condemned the indifferent attitude of Shri Amarnath Shrine Board towards the construction work of Shri Amarnath Base Camp at Sidda, Jammu and called for taking forward the construction work of Base Camp from the foundation stone. In a press conference organized at the party state office here today, state chief Manish Sahni said that the grand temple of Lord Shri Ram has been inaugurated in Ayodhya in about three years.
But the construction work of the base camp for the pilgrims coming for the Holy Shri Amarnath Yatra in Jammu has not progressed beyond the foundation stone in the last 27 months. Which proves that today vote bank politics has taken place under the guise of religion. Sahni said that in Siddhra on the outskirts of Jammu In November 2021, the foundation stone was laid by the Honorable Lieutenant Governor of Jammu and Kashmir and once again on 6 June 2023, Union Minister Hardeep Singh Puri and Lieutenant Governor of Jammu and Kashmir, Honorable Manoj Sinha jointly offered prayers with full rituals and laid the foundation stone.
