The statue of Mahatma Gautam Buddha installed in Lower Kuppar village under Nagrota assembly constituency was unveiled on Wednesday.
On this occasion, State President of Bahujan Samaj Party, Darshan Rana, was present as the chief guest, who along with the local people, unveiled the statue of Mahatma Gautam Buddha and called upon the people of the area to follow the path shown by Mahatma Gautam Buddha.
On this occasion, State President of Bahujan Samaj Party, Darshan Rana, said that the installation of the statue of Mahatma Gautam Buddha in Lower Kuppar, a village under Nagrota assembly constituency, is a matter of great fortune because the statues of Mahatmas give the message of peace and mutual brotherhood to the society. Darshan Rana said that Mahatma Buddha always gave the message of peace and living in harmony to the society.
The state chief of BSP said that Gautam Buddha tried to remove the evils spread in the society by giving the message of non-violence, peace, love, goodwill, and sacrifice among the people all over the world. He also praised Ram Lal, Senior Leader of Bahujan Samaj Party, who installed the statue of Gautam Buddha and said that they have done the work of giving the message of peace and mutual brotherhood by installing the statue of Gautam Buddha. He appealed to all the people and said that they should work for the betterment of society by following the path shown by Gautam Buddha.
On this occasion, Ram Lal, Hari Chand Thappa, Satpal Baboria, Tarsem Lal, Gopal Krishna, Dr. Baba Ram, Ratna Kumari, and others were also present.
