DOGRA HERALD BUREAU
JAMMU, Jan 31
The Modi Government has dedicated itself to the growth of poor and marginalized sections of society. Modi government has worked to give social justice, equality, respect, and equal opportunities to all citizens. Empowering every citizen to make India win against poverty is the aim of the Modi government, said Sat Sharma. The strategies and policies of the Midi government have extensively supported the underprivileged. His government has provided 10% Reservation for Economically weaker Sections, Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) to beneficiaries, and the constitutional status is given to the OBC Commission. Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s government, has similarly benefitted every class which needed attention in all these years. The region of Jammu & Kashmir is particularly benefited from the decisive and result-oriented government at the Center, which has established the atmosphere of peace and prosperity in the whole region, added Sat Sharma.
Sat Sharma, former minister, and former President, J&K BJP, expressed these views while he, accompanied by BJP SC Morcha Seh-Prabhari & JMC Councillor Jeet Angral and Ankush Gupta Incharge RMJSA, was attending to the grievances of a large number of people from different areas of Jammu and Kashmir at the party headquarter, Trikuta Nagar, Jammu, during their scheduled weekly sitting.
Deputations from Vijaypur, Miran Sahib, Rehari, Bakshi Nagar, Channi Himmat, Satwari, Gangyal, Ramban, Bantalab, and other areas had approached BJP headquarters to share their grievances and issues with the former Minister Sat Sharma for early disposal, who took up their matters with the concerned departmental officials.
A deputation complained that inspite of repeated requests, the electricity bill was not issued by the department and the electricity was abruptly cut off causing inconvenience. Deputations and individuals also presented issues like installation of high mast lights, repair of lanes & drains, shortage of drinking water, long pendency of land record issue in Katra, transformer upgradation, and other issues.
The former minister redressed the maximum of the grievances on the spot. He gave a patient hearing to the grievances raised and assured proper disposal of the remaining genuine issues in a time-bound manner. Jeet Angral said that the senior party leaders listen to the issues of the public at the party headquarters.
He said that BJP believes in the “Sabka Sath, Sabka Vikas” and every party activist is constituently engaged in solving the issues faced by the public. Ankush Gupta said that the BJP cadre is the most dedicated force in the whole world, which sacrifices every personal benefit for the sake of the welfare of society and the nation.
