Dr. Nirmal Singh, former Deputy Chief Minister and BJP Cluster Incharge for five Parliament Constituencies in the Lok Sabha 2024 elections, convened a meeting of BJPs Village Defense Guards (VDG), Ex-Servicemen, and Border Area Welfare Cells.
BJP All Cell Incharge Rakesh Mahajan, all cell Co-Incharge Ved Sharma, Col Gurbaksh Singh, Jai Singh, and Col Roshan Lal were among the prominent present at the meeting.
Dr. Nirmal Singh, while addressing the meeting, asked the party’s senior leaders to play a key role in the upcoming Parliamentary elections. He said that the party’s Cells are instrumental in reaching up to the targeted communities and the party cadre associated with the particular cells must increase their working in their respective communities. Besides being a social, economic, and cultural entity, human beings are also political entities as the representative government in a civilized society is incapable of functioning without the active participation of people, he said while emphasizing the Cell’s role as a bridge between the society and the party.
Dr. Nirmal Singh asked the Cells to hold their conferences or Sammelan in every Assembly Constituency with maximum participation from their respective communities. He asked them to complete these Sammelan from 1st February to 28th February and all the programmes must be completed within the stipulated time frame.
Rakesh Mahajan assured the senior party leadership that all the Cells of the party are working with full energy and the Cell activists are already working in their respective communities with the target of taking public welfare schemes of the Modi government to the community members and achieving the maximum support of the people in the upcoming Parliamentary elections.
Ved Sharma conducted the proceedings of the meeting, while all the Cell representatives shared the details of the ongoing party programmes along with the future planning.
