The officers and staff of the Civil Secretariat Security today bade adieu to the two of their longest serving officers including the ASI, Mir Gh Rasool and ASI, Ganesh Chander Sharma.
Both the officers had served in different capacities as security personnel for Civil Secretariat for decades together right from the year 1992. The two were given today warm and affectionate send-off by their officers and colleagues on getting respectfully superannuated at the end of their long-spanning service career.
While speaking on this occasion the Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP), Civil Secretariat, Mumtaz Ahmad called both the officers upright, dedicated and righteous. He made out that being given responsibility of ensuring security of such an important establishment for a long time proves beyond doubt that both of them were very devoted and professionally erudite policemen.
He wished them best for their after-retirement life.
The other officers who spoke includes Dy SP, Civil Secretariat, Security, Malik Iqbal; DySP, Hiresh Chowdhary; Inspectors, Sukhbir Singh, Shabir Bhat and Altaf Hussain.
Many other civil and police officials were also present to give their good wishes to these policemen who had served the department for over three decades of their lives. All of them recalled the momentous occasions of unblemished career of this retiring duo.
