Today Rotary Club Katra organized a well attended function in a hotel to honour Sh Raj Kumar Padha and Ramnik Sharma president and treasurer of newly formed Chamber of Tourism Trade and Industry Katra.
Deepak Gupta president of Rotary Club Katra informed that Raj Kumar Padha was the charter(founder) president of Rotary Club Katra and Ramnik Sharma was the founder member of the club.It is an achievement for the club that they got elected as the founder president and treasurer of the Chamber.
Earlier president of the club along with other members honoured them with mata ki chunari.
Raj Kumar padha briefed the gathering that Chamber of Tourism Trade and Industry has members from tourism industry like hotels guest houses,restaurants and travel offices ;traders and wholesalers from trading and industrial units of the reasi district. He informed that chamber will make efforts for better relations of business community with govt. deptt. and will act as spokesperson so that genuine needs of the business community can be projected to the competent agencies. It will strive for the betterment of all types of businesses and Industry and to improve their lot.He also appealed the Katra businessmen to become members of the chamber in large numbers.
Ramnik Sharma apprised the club members about the aims and objectives of the chamber.Raj Kumar Dubey assistant governor conducted the proceedings of the function.
Members present on the occasion were Munish Kapoor,Sanjay Nawada, Arun Sharma Sanjay Kumar ,Vishal Kapoor and others.
