Shiv Sena (UBT) Jammu and Kashmir unit today paid a heartfelt tribute to party founder and Hindu Hridaya Samrat venerable Bala Saheb Thackeray on his birth anniversary and took a pledge of patriotism and social service.
In a program organized today at Indira Chowk, Jammu, the state leaders present including party state chief Manish Sahni paid emotional tribute by offering flowers to Vandannea Bala Saheb.
Sahni said in his address that it would be a coincidence that a day before the birth anniversary of venerable Bala Saheb Thackeray, who played an important role in the Ram Mandir movement,
a grand Ram Mandir and charming statue of Lord Shri Ram were were established in Ayodhya.
Sahni said that Balasaheb Thackeray outspoken style and the contribution of Shiv Sainiks in the Ram Mandir movement can never be forgotten. Bala Saheb Thackeray, born on 23 January 1926, played a very important role in the political stage of Maharashtra. Bala Saheb started his career as an influential cartoonist, founded Shiv Sena in 1966.
Bala Saheb Thackeray was a symbol of Marathi pride and Hindutva, whose passionate style earned him the title of Hindu Hriday Samrat.
Sahni said that venerable Balasaheb Thackeray is not physically among us today, but his thoughts and outspoken style are still alive in every true Shiv Sainik. Along with this, great revolutionary leader Subhash Chandra Bose was also remembered and an emotional tribute was paid to him , Halwa prasad also sevrved. On this occasion, President Women Wing Meenakshi Chhibber, Chairman Rakesh Gupta, General Secretary Vikas Bakshi, Vice President Sanjeev Kohli, President Kamghar Raj Singh, Titu Sehgal and many leaders and workers were present
