Adv Purnima Sharma, Spokesperson of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in Jammu & Kashmir and former Deputy Mayor, today spearheaded a significant cleanliness drive at Baba Banwari Das Mandir, Mubarak Mandi Jammu. This initiative is part of a broader nationwide pledge to ensure cleanliness at various religious sites, aligning with the consecration of the Ayodhya Ram Temple.
The cleanliness drive was inaugurated under the guidance and vision of the Honorable Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi. The nationwide call to action seeks to uphold the principles of cleanliness and hygiene, particularly at religious sites, in tandem with the momentous events surrounding the Ayodhya Ram Temple consecration.
The cleanliness drive at Baba Banwari Das Mandir witnessed enthusiastic participation from local residents, party members, and volunteers who joined hands to clean and beautify the surroundings.
Speaking on the occasion, Adv Purnima Sharma expressed her dedication to the cause and highlighted the importance of maintaining cleanliness at sacred places. “It is an honor to contribute to the nationwide effort initiated by our respected Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi. Cleanliness is not just a civic responsibility; it is a reflection of our cultural ethos. By ensuring cleanliness at religious sites, we pay homage to our traditions and demonstrate our commitment to a Swachh Bharat,” she remarked.
