Jammu and Kashmir BJP general secretary and former MLC, Vibodh Gupta, while addressing a massive public gathering at Town Hall, Rajouri, said that the ten years of BJP government under Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be remembered as ‘golden period’ in the political history of India. He said it is not just a pleasing slogan but a fact that is based on changed ground realities in the country during the two tenures of Narendra Modi as Prime Minister.
Vibodh Gupta said that it is not only the BJP activist or a common citizen, who has been appreciating the good governance of PM Modi but leaders of other political parties have come forward to endorse the achievements of Modi rule. He said that how much the leaders of other parties are influenced by the good works of BJP government under PM Modi is clear by looking at the figures of joining BJP by many leaders, along with their supporters and colleagues in Jammu and Kashmir, like other parts of the country.
“The Narendra Modi government has consistently worked to wipe out terrorism, restore peace and normalcy and induce a sense of security in the UT”, Vibodh said and expressed hope that the day is not far when J&K will be as peaceful as other states and UTs of the Country.
While the Modi government and the LG administration have been working in unison to attract private investments, it has also given employment to more than 24000 unemployed youth, created an atmosphere to attract a record number of domestic and foreign tourists. It has resulted into the creation of more employment and giving boost to the local economy. Vibodh said that the credit for providing government jobs, and creating employment avenues in private sectors as well goes to the Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the Union Home Minister Amit shah and the J&K LG Manoj Sinha.
Dinesh Sharma, district President Rajouri said that the BJP cadre feels pride to be associated with a political party which treats the nation first and self last. Every activist of the party works tirelessly and with a commitment to serve the nation and its people. He said that BJP is different than Congress and other parties in many senses, which makes it a party with a difference.
Radhish Sharma, Mandal President said that gone are the days when the people of Jammu and Kashmir had the dream of getting the best means of road connectivity. Today J&K has modern and advanced technology in various sectors, which is an indication that it is fast moving on the path of development.
